RV Solar Coaching & Consultation Rates

We offer our consultation and coaching services at a per hour* rate, depending on the complexity of your solar installation project and how much assistance you need along your journey to energy independence.  

Level 1:  Just Have a Question? - $35 per half hour

You've figured most of it out on your own, but you are now stuck, questioning your decisions...or just need expert confirmation that you've done it all correctly.  We'll answer all of your questions via a video chat.  If more than 30 minutes, we'll switch to the rates listed below.

Level 2:  Basics for the Solar Beginner - $75 per hour

Think of this a personalized RV Solar 101 course for beginners.  We will help you understand all of the solar and electrical terminology you need to know, answer any questions along the way, and walk you through the process of appropriately sizing your own solar powered system.  You can probably budget for 2-3 hours for this consultation, depending on the number of questions that you have.  We love teaching newbies!  

Level 3:  Beyond the Basics - $100 per hour

You've sized your system, but when you went to review all of the component options within each product category, you are now overwhelmed with specs, terminology, and all of the math involved.  We'll answer your questions, as well as offer first-hand advice about which components will work best for your rig, lifestyle, and typical camping situation.  You can likely budget for 1-2 hours for this consultation.

Level 4:  The Now What?  Phase - $150 per hour

Congratulations!  You've sized your system and ordered your components, but now you are up to your eyeballs in wiring and fusing them all together -- with safety and efficiency in mind, of course.  We'll help you think through the whole enchilada, answer questions, provide wiring diagrams, and more.  You can likely budget for 2-4 hours for this consultation.

Level 5:  The Works!  - $200 per hour

Think of this level as an all inclusive vacation to energy independence.  We'll walk you through each level above, be available for any questions that come up, and will also make ourselves available for video chats during your installation if you need further assistance.  You can likely budget for 5-8 hours for this consultation.

*The first hour will be due before our first conversation, then you will be billed for any remainder, which will be due immediately after our consultation.  For longer term projects (Levels 4 & 5), we will work with you to determine a consultation and payment schedule that works for each of us.
